Student: “Why Master, to me it seems pure torture.”

Master: “Wait till you follow a course in praying and cursing. Those monks make you sit on your knees for hours in a drafty crypt or mausoleum. Some rituals can last days. All that time you have to show obedience to their Gods by kneeling down and making yourself small and insignificant.”

Student: “Thank you master, I understand.”
