MAITREYA PREDICTIONS

Student: “We were told by Master Klaas, that the Dutch played an important in the development of science. Especially in astronomy. The lenzes used by Leonardo da Vinci and Galileo Galilei, came from the Netherlands. In the 20th century, the Oort-cloud and the Van Allen-belt were named after Dutch scientists.”

Master: “That is true. The microscope and the telescope were Dutch inventions, that literally opened portals to other worlds. Anthony van Leeuwenhoek was the first, at least in thousands of years, to see the microbic world.”

Student: “Not many Dutch know this. It was completely unknown to me, Master”

Master: “It goes even further. Alpha Centauri is the star, closest to our sun. But many of the other stars close to our solar system have Dutch names; van Maanen's star, Barnard's star, Kruger star and, very significant, Kapteyn's star!”

Student: “Could you explain that to me, Master.”

Master: “Long distant travelling in the past, was done by boat. Navigating in the recent past was a matter of knowing the movement of the sun, the stars and the planets. This knowledge was kept secret and charts or maps, were very precious.

The Dutch explored the world in the 16th and 17th century and the captains and pilots from Holland were considered to be the best of the best. When explorers returned to Amsterdam, they not only brought goods, like silk or spices, but also information about distant lands and how to get there. Cartography is the art of making maps and some of the best cartographers lived in this country, especially in Amsterdam. Not only did they make world wide highly regarded, geographical maps, they also made maps from the sky and of course they used their native tongue in naming the stars.”

Student: “Thank you, Master.”
