Sunday
worship
There
is no moonlight. What we call moonlight is in fact the reflection of
the radiance of the Sun.
The
Sun provides us with more than enough energy serving a whole solar
system, which it creates or makes visible to us.
The
Sun, like us, is, once, created for that purpose, being the engine of
a planetary system and the centre of a cosmic cycle.
Sunworship
seemes a natural thing. And it was and is. Jezus' history is
comparable to that of Mithrash, the Persian/Roman Sungod. A Lord of
War, favoured by the Roman legionaires.
The
message of Jesus, the Messiah is completely diferent. “Thou shall
not kill or curse.” And the believer should live a life of
friendship, love and devotion; preparing for the Kingdom of God.
Hardly a warrior-religion. In the beginning, at least.
One
of the 10 Commandments obliges the christians to jeep the “Sabbaths
Day”, as a day of religious and spiritual focus and contemplation.
Like God, who rested on the 7th day and saw that all was
well. This day was Saturday and not Sunday. People went to church on
Saturday or visited ceremonies and retiuals. Sunday was the 1st
day of the working week.
This
is true for Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
This
changed around 320 and was formalised at the council of Nicea. In one
big stroke emperor Constantine made Cattholicism the state-religion
of the Roman Empire, censored many dissident religious thoughts to
create a definitive Bible and made Sunday, the day of worship and a
new sabbath. These were revolutionary acts and with a great
influence.
Sunworship,
like in Egypt, keeps the Sun going and every Sunday, the Sun receives
an enormous energetic boost.
But
the same happens on Saturday, when the Jews join the Muslims, who
even pray five times a day, facing Mecca.
They
pray to Saturn and the Moon.
A
lots of dispute, conflicts, violence and war, is the result of these
conflicting shower of prayers. They are not coordinated and sometimes
conflicting and full of hate.
On
this level it is time to coordinate and make choises. I have no
problem with the Bible-sabbath's day. We can join the Muslims and
Jews in meditation and prayer.
A
collective cry for peace and human liberty.
It
will work. I sm sure.
