Student: “ Master Jian had doubts about the assumed route Biblical scolars proclaim the Isrealites were using.”

Master: “Master Jian is doubting every-one and everything.”

Student: “It is confusing, Master.”

Master: “He is doing that on purpose. It makes you more open to alternatives.”

Student: “ Master, he showed us an alternate route. The Jews did not cross the Red Sea, but the Persian Gulf. This was a route Moses knew.”

Master: “What about the divine signs that led the tribe through the dessert.”

Student: “The pillar of smoke and the fire at night were the result of an erupting vulcano in northern Arabia. This showed

Moses the way.”

Master: “Interesting. It means that Saudi-Arabia rules over three holy places: Mecca, Medina and Mount Sinai, where Moses received the 10 commandments on the top of an active Arabian volcano!”
