Satan Is Not Eden's Serpent

Judaism denies that Satan is Eden's serpent or snake in the Garden of Eden myth! Where then are Christians getting the notion that he is? This concept is derived from Hellenistic Greek ideas about daemons or daimones (demons) being responsible for all the evil in the world.
