Centre asks states to be on guard, keeps forces ready:

 With repercussion of lower Assam violence being felt in Mumbai and elsewhere, the Centre on Saturday sent an advisory to all states asking them to remain extra vigilant in sensitive localities, including religious places, and put various community leaders on guard.
